Two sisters are teaching their 87 y-o Nana suffering from dementia how to swim, to see if she has forgotten her fears.

Sisters Adelaide and Lucinda grew up in the care of their Nana Ann, aka “Nansie”. But roles have switched since Nansie was diagnosed with Dementia eight years ago. For the past year, Nansie has been saying to her granddaughters when they visit that she has been swimming in the ocean every morning. The girls know for a fact it’s not the case as Nansie never learned to swim, but what if it could be? They embark on a rocky journey and along the way, discover secrets their Nana has managed to hide her entire life.
