Australia’s surf and youth culture has been shaped by the concept of THE SEARCH for over 60 years. In the tradition of Australia’s pioneering spirit, THE SEARCH remains just as relevant today. For the Australian based cast, they have searched and found many locations in Australia, now they turn their attention internationally. It’s a series of trips across the world in the search of the best waves, food, people – The main concept being not to reveal any locations, to keep them a secret. The first era of THE SEARCH started in the early 90’s and the second began about 10 years ago. It’s now time to look back on that period before turning the page of a new chapter. This 4 x 30min documentary for broadcast and cable TV brings together the best moments of the most recent decade. It’s a timeless piece, not location oriented, but rather highlighting the athletes, the waves, and the journey it took to get there.
